Of the three #WarCemeteries I’ve visited here in #Normandy, I would argue the #British (actually #Commonwealth) is the most beautiful.
The smallest of the three, with 4144 Commonwealth graves - and 505 war graves of other nationalities, the majority German - the planting that lines all of the ornate gravestones makes it a stunningly beautiful and humbling place to visit.
The #CWGC have done a sterling job.

The Battle of Jutland Memorial contains all those that were killed in action or died of wounds at the battle (31 May to 1 June 1916). A total of 6109 names are included with 1071 photographs.
It is hoped that this will prove to be a useful resource for those with an interest in genealogy generally or who are specifically researching their family trees.
