We only have to look south to see how quickly a country can descend into lawless madness when the courts are ignored. The proper way for CUPE to act would be to sue the government.
With the recent #AirCanada - #CUPE dispute, I've been studying Section 107 which allows the minister to direct the labour board "to maintain or secure industrial peace".
Baffling that the minister somehow thought a back to work order would secure "labour peace". Like, the good little workers will just do as their told and return to work.
