London's east-west and north-south cycleway journey counters in the first week of June 2026 - frequent thundery rain during week:
- north-south cycleway C6, Blackfriars Road Mon 1st-Fri 5th = 36k journeys
- east-west cycleway C3, Victoria Embankment Mon 1st-Fri 5th = 55k journeys, including

On Tuesday 12 May'26, London's cycleway #C3 #CS3 on Victoria Embankment counter recorded and displayed 12,360 cycle journeys
The cycleway #C6 #CS6 Blackfriars Road counter recorded 8,288 journeys.
On Wednesday 13 May'26, the #C3 #CS3 counter recorded and displayed 8,961 journeys, after a day of frequent heavy rain, thunder and hail showers ⛈️
Sadly, there are plenty of reports that the rebooted totems don't work very well, e.g. in this morning's video shared on Bluesky, the C3 totem fails to increase as folk cycle pass and, at the end of the video, the totem reset the totals to zero.🤦♂️

Both totems were failing to count everyone cycling past, so the numbers are directionally useful but incomplete
London's cycleway #C3 and #C6 journey counters were restarted last week.
At 10pm on Weds 29 April:

23/04/2026: News from several folk on the Bluesky platform, including @westcountrytim, that the cycle journey counters on the London's cycleways C3 Victoria Embankment and C6 Blackfriars Road were restarted this week.
The counters have been offline for many months, but have now been upgraded with new displays which show today's and year-to-date (or restart to date) totals together.
