Inside the basement of the store, he finds a Null Zone bringing him to the Backrooms.[1] The tagline from the first Backrooms film teaser "Everything must go", is partially visible on a sign in the furniture store shown in the film's trailer. It is fully seen in an advertisement video for the store. Multiple distorted ship's wheels are seen in the Backrooms, which likely relate to Cap'n Clark's due to it being a pirate-themed...
