It's like there was a hard barrier between those two states that were difficult to flip between, and the barrier just fell down and I'm the person I was before all this happened again.

It's good to have finally found my way home to sanity.

I do custom art, and in my shop, there are a few characters available to adopt, I have a storybook about my childhood trauma and homelessness, and I make music. Buying me a Coffee is greatly appreciated right now, too.

We are currently homeless and trying to stay inside day by day, leaving us in a daily fight to raise ~$100 just for shelter. This makes it incredibly difficult to remain hopeful, and to afford everything else we need. If somehow we could raise $500, we could book a whole week, and have some time to recover. Both my partner and I struggle with chronic pain, I struggle with fatigue, and we both are autistic with complex PTSD. We are trying to get ourselves to a better place, where we can get help for our health and earn an income. This makes any support incredibly valuable.

My partner @magicalgrrrl & I have been dealing with chronic homelessness for the past several years, and I dealt with it for years prior to meeting Betty. We have two cats as well, and all of us have gone through many traumas together, which we’re trying to live through and overcome.

Betty and I are both disabled, trans, artists who make music among other things. We are trying to get to an extended residency hotel nearby, where we can sell our RV (which doesn’t run properly), so we can get a smaller vehicle and become more financially stable. With stable housing comes balance in other areas.

A couple of years ago, I had no option but to go back to the house I was abused in as a child. That triggered something in me, and inspired me to start planning a story about a kitten living through abuse and homelessness.
This year, I finally released a digital copy of the storybook onto my Patreon and Ko-Fi.

I spent weeks illustrating the story and handwriting each page. My cousin designed the cover for me, because I wanted another style and another artist’s take on the story. Then, my partner @magicalgrrrl helped me put all the pages together into a (pdf) ebook.

I am still trying to find the happy ending that the kitten found. We are attempting to recover from homelessness, and continue to run into obstacles. In the eyes of the law, we are still homeless, so we are trying to create stability for ourselves. I hope to get enough ebook sales to one day be in a position to order hard copies to give to folks who purchased the ebook, and continue to sell my book after that.

This was a good first big step in processing my trauma, and I plan to continue that journey by finding a good therapist, catching up on medical care after a life of being medically neglected, writing an autobiography about my experiences, and by writing more music about it (my debut album has been in planning for a few years now).
