Yesterday, I learned the existence of the Consumer Privacy Protection Act (CPPA) [Bill C-11 and then, C-27].

It died twice when the previous legislatures were dissolved and elections called.

It seems like a Canadian GDPR, but with less teeth 😢

It was still better than the status quo.
