Gathering data in space is difficult and expensive, leaving space biology and health researchers with very limited datasets to work with. This makes it difficult or impossible to use standard statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.

Join our Panel on Innovative Solutions challenge to help use #AI and #MachineLearning to better exploit existing data improving techniques to generate realistic synthetic data to amplify intrinsic biological signals.

All participants will receive support, including access to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration data, computational resources and expertise. One team will win a prestigious award presented at the #COSPAR2025 Scientific Symposium in Nicosia, Cyprus in November 2025.

Declare your interest to join the challenge by 19 May: https://cosparhq.cnes.fr/news/join-the-quest-to-shape-the-future-of-space-exploration/ #artificialintelligence #lifescienceinspace

Our Panel on Innovative Solutions (PoIS) is thrilled to announce a second public challenge, this time putting #AI / #ML to work in the field of space biology and health research, specifically in the amplification and realistic simulation of rare biomedical data points from spaceflight.

How does it work? We'll provide access to relevant data from the NASA Open Science Data Repository, expertise, and computational resources to help you tackle this complex challenge. In return, you'll provide your creativity and fresh ideas needed to solve pressing real-world problems.

The winning approach will receive a prestigious award at the #COSPAR2025 Symposium in Cyprus, be recognised as a leader in the field of space situational awareness and (potentially) make a real impact on the future of space biology and health research: https://cosparhq.cnes.fr/news/join-the-quest-to-shape-the-future-of-space-exploration/ #artificialintelligence #machinelearning

Would you like to level up your #ArtificialIntelligence and #MachineLearning skills while working to solve a real-world problem? Our Panel on Innovative Solution's #SpaceDebris Quest offers you the perfect opportunity - and the resources you need to be successful!

The goal is to address a critical issue: tracking debris in the increasing congested space above Earth. Current methods are limited by computation resources and struggling to keep up with the proliferation of objects in orbit.

How will it work? You provide the ideas; We'll provide support, including compute resources and advice from our experts in machine learning, #DataScience, space debris and #CleanSpace. Plus, the winning approach will be honoured with a prestigious award at our #COSPAR2025 Scientific Symposium this November in Cyprus.
