A fantastic thread that speaks to building the world we want in the shell of the old, right now. To be clear, this isn't about adjusting our world to accommodate or treat the symptoms of capitalism. It's not about adjusting for or making fixes for capitalism.

We should work to abolish capitalism and the state as they work together and they cannot be reformed. Neither system will serve social or ecological health, neither will bring us a truly free society. The state and capitalism are about extraction and subjugation.

The answer is to organize from the bottom up, from communities and neighborhoods, a social ecological movement to build our new world right now. Democratic assemblies, worker co-ops, mutual aid projects, community-scaled tech, salvage co-ops, etc. An endless list of small scale projects in people's garages, unused land and small spaces. Anyone can begin a project like this. Talk to your neighbors and friends. Start one.
