A #smart move by #mistral to focus and #specialise their #models , answering to #sovereignty #industry and #confidentiality needs.
The #competition on cutting edge models is unbearable. #EU is missing fundamental pillars: #chip making, #energy sources, #investments and what is more important: a political coordinated #vision. Of course, while valuable, mistral contribution is a patch on a much larger #problem. But it can make the difference.

Is #Cloudflare a global interception (infra)layer similar to the goals of PRISM described in the Snowden documents?

I don't mean just in theory. I mean, is it in use as a global interception layer including active cooperation with authorities?

Considering a lot of services involve off-loading computationally expensive or large-sized payloads, and often some form or flavor of "served by Cloudflare to ease the load". (TLS termination or offloading)
