I recently did #GiveUpGitHub and moved all my repos to @Codeberg and a personal @gitea instance, while leaving behind only those that are forks of GitHub-hosted #FOSS projects. It was fairly easy for me, as I do not maintain any popular repo, and am not tied to any org using GH, but I strongly believe that every person counts. A true revolution is a sum of many small disobediences and riots. Fuck #BigTech, let's regain control of what belongs to us, people.

Not a bad day! I finished fleshing out the skeleton for my portfolio site (https://kasbjornsen.codeberg.page), but spent the afternoon fighting with the CI/CD stuff because they've gone to an internal workflow system on #codeberg replacing woodpecker. Which is very nice actually. It wasn't too painful to setup. Just need to sand things down and put content on there. I deserve a nice shower and some delicious #coffee

I just released fgj v0.3.0 (a cli like gh, but for forgejo/codeberg).

Changes include :
- Forgejo Actions: watch, rerun, cancel runs; enable/disable workflows
- Create repos with full options (visibility, README, .gitignore, license)
- Assign/manage issue labels
- Shell completions (bash/zsh/fish/powershell) & man pages
- XDG Base Dir support

@kenji Zu Open-Source Projekten: Es kommt auch darauf an, bei welchem Git-Service ein Open-Source Projekt gehostet wird. Während bei Github und Gitlab gerne mal unaufgefordert "Verschlimmbesserungsvorschläge"von deren KIs kommen, ist das nach meinen Erfahrungen bei Codeberg nicht so.

Pet peeve about software forges: having to temporarily reactivate an archived project to change basic profile settings like the homepage URL. #Codeberg inherited this misfeature from GitHub and it drives me up a wall every time. It's tedious for no good reason, plus it discards the initial date when the project was archived. That's meaningful information, you know.
