In ihrem neuen Projekt You Only Look Once beschäftigt sich die britische Künstlerin Lisa Barnard mit Wahrnehmung im Spannungsfeld zwischen menschlicher und maschineller Erfahrung. Sie beleuchtet die Komplexität technologischen Fortschritts und die ökologischen Ressourcen, auf denen dieser beruht. Ihre Recherche ist in Kalifornien angesiedelt und führt sie unter anderem an den Saltonsee, in das Umland von Sacramento und auf die Straßen von San Francisco.
