In 2020, I made a post asking internet friends if they wanted to read #books with me and a few actually said yes. Thus the Badass Book Bitches was formed. I commissioned a logo from a friend (Mike Ribeiro) and later had him #tattoo it for me. We're still going strong, too!

This entire #rant shouldn't exist.
It should be with #screenings like with #music in a #club:
- You fill out a form
- Get a quote by the licensing / collecting agency
- You pay it
- You get a reciept
- If someone from said collecting agency ever shows up (which they almost never do at licensed events & -locations) you can just show them that and they'll wish you a nice day.
It's not a question that you want to properly #license that stuff…
- But there isn't even like an agency / #licensing brokerage one can just contact, maybe pay a premium percentage on top of the fees and have them work out who to pay and how much.
