After the quick detour to the Bahamas, Iām back in Florida. The approach into Fort Lauderdale came in from the east, flying directly over the airport. After a 180-degree turn over the Everglades, I then lined up for landing. As in the days before, there were strong crosswinds š¤·āāļø

A quick detour from the coast to Washington DC: I wanted to try the RNAV approach to runway 19 and see if I would feel queasy from the many small left and right curves following the Potomac River. Everything went well, with great views and a butter-smooth landing.

This time, I took the Cessna Citation CJ4 again, because why not. The weather was perfect, and I enjoyed stunning views of Long Island the entire flight!

A swap to a Cessna Citation CJ4 made the roughly 100 miles pass quickly. With a comfortable climb rate of 4,000 feet per minute, you still reach the tops of the clouds in no time.
