Does anyone else have the newer #Google TV Streamer device (not the Chromecast with Google TV, the newer one)? I'm having the worst time with the audio periodically dropping out when attached to my Pioneer receiver.
I did not have this issue with all of the same hardware but with the #CCWGTV instead of the streamer.

They messed with the #GoogleCast protocol again and my laptop cannot cast to #CCwGTV .
Are there ant decent 3rd party remote controls for the Chromecast with Google TV? I've never liked how the OEM one fits in my hands.
with google TV, you can cast google photos, youtube and hundreds of other apps / services from an iphone/ipad *and* android.
with an apple TV, you can only use airplay, to cast from iphone/ipad, no android support.
google TV supports both major platforms. apple tv only supports one.

It's called a powered USBC hub. You can also use this to plug in a webcam for video chats on the big screen, so the family can sit back and relax and not have to all huddle over a phone / tablet while doing Google meet video calls.

As a heavy user of the original #Chromecast, and a current user of the #CCwGtv I'm not sad at all.
#ONN makes excellent #AndroidTV boxes that are just as cheap and even better built than the #Google ones.

Can we get an option to download the official Google photos app onto ccwgtv? So we can browse a photo library with a remote and not just via "casting"? casting is nice, but it'd also be nice if we could install an official Google photos app from the play store on Google TV. Thank you
