Für mich einer der schönsten „deutschen Filme“ aller Zeiten. Auch deshalb, weil er in der kalifornischen Wüste spielt. Schon seit „Paris, Texas“ wusste ich: Da muss ich selbst einmal hin. Nach „Bagdad Café“ wusste ich, dass ich mich dort verlieben würde. Wenders wusste über seine Bilder zu faszinieren. Adlon dagegen, wusste zuerst auf die Menschen zu schauen.
