Visiting a #forest managed in continuous cover #forestry in #Finland. Very inspiring to see that this can be done, and profitably, in a boreal forest context too - we often hear the opposite in #Brussels from the forest industry's lobbyists.

Yes, pines in particular need light in their early years, but this can be done by lightly opening the canopy: there is an alternative to clear cuts in Finland too!
