@nisjasper If you're looking for something a little edgier and not much more weight in terms of mechanics, though there are some you might want to look into CBR + PNK (https://emanoelmelo.itch.io/cbrpnk-core).

The core system comes on a trifold, which is already pretty strangely cutting edge. The layout recalls Mork Borg, but without being quite so extreme on the eyeballs. It is designed to play fast and go hard.

There are some lightweight mechanics for wizardry, and doing fantasy species within the context is not hard either. While not free at $10 even, you're not looking at a huge investment.

I like it, but it's not particularly geared toward long-term campaign style play, but rather one-offs and short arcs. However, nothing says campaign like a series of short arcs that are related to one another, so make of that what you will.
