Today I’m back in Microsoft Flight Simulator, mostly because I was craving another go in the Daher TBM 930.

I flew the first leg manually, battling gusty winds that really made the plane wobble. But as I wound my way north through the valleys, the wind began to settle. By the time I reached Terrace-Kitimat, the wind was gone so I was able to put the plane down on the runway in a butter-smooth way 🧈

A flight at dusk, which just barely ended in time in Bella Bella (I like this name!).

The runway wasn’t lit, and in the worst case, I would have had to turn back to Port Hardy, but everything worked out fine.
