The #casualty figure has not been previously reported. Prior to publication of the figure, the #Pentagon had only disclosed 8 U.S. personnel #seriouslyinjured.
In a statement after โthe Reuters report, the Pentagon estimated the figure to be approximately โ140 wounded & said the vast majority of them were โ minor.
