Celebrated my first sub-20min 5k of the year with a nice stroll around Belle Vue Park and now enjoying a coffee and a bacon roll in the lovely Victorian tearooms.
Some excellent #ShoutyBlokesWithGuitars action in #Newport / #Casnewydd tonight. Nice to visit The Pit, my first time there. Great support from youngsters #FlatCat and the very talented #MilkInCrisis (good band, terrible name); and an excellent first headline set by local lads #Maeve.
Looking forward to doing the Newport Riverfront #parkrun this weekend for the first time. Anyone else on here going?

Had a cheeky little trip to Newport Wetlands for a festive welly walk. Saw a couple of curlew and a stunning little bullfinch up close.
Olly WomumpOk, so this is slightly niche. I left my colleagues at the #GLC #GoldieLookinChain gig to catch the last train home, and Hannah somehow found #AdamHussain who noticed my absence. Anyway, it was #Bridgend #PenYBont where I saw them last, not #Casnewydd
