Was thinking of getting this watch. Didn't have a countdown timer, which i thought was strange (and a dealbreaker, quite frankly) but apparently you can do a module hack to light the functionality back up again! Why on earth would Casio release a watch with functionality that exists but is deliberately crippled out? Baffled.

Dziś wymianiełem baterię w G-Shock i prawie się zesr.. bo mi zegarek zdechł.
Okazało się, że po wymianie baterii jeszcze trzeba tam plus z jednym punktem w elektronice zewrzeć :D

No i działa. Ale niestety w międzyczasie zacząłem już szukać następcy i już mam i to nawet 2 upatrzone.
Jeden z ładowaniem solarnym który w sumie co lepsze ma też synchro radiowe czasu - a to bym sobie chwalił.
Drugi to reedycja pierwszego G-Shocka z zakręcanym dekielkiem i całym stalowym tym modułem w środku :)
Ale czytałem opinie, że za to widoczność ekraniku jakaś słaba. A to w jednym, że z boku nie widać a to że w drugim pod kątem. Sam nie wiem co o tym myśleć. Będę w okolicy jakiegoś sklepu to sprawdzę z ciekawości.
Przy okazji widziałem że G-Shock wypuścił jakieś dziwne wersje w cenie po kilkanaście tysi. Chyba tytanowe koperty. Dla mnie nawet stalowa ze stalowymi paskami nie pasuje. To dziwnie wygląda. G-Shock ma wyglądać jak na obrazku niżej.
Oczywiście nie zamierzam kupować drugiego G-Shocka. Nie zamierzam kupować drugiego... Nie zamierzam...

The Casio TV-21 is the weirdest portable TV I have!

It doesn't have a backlight, so you have to shine light through its black-and-white LCD screen and view the image through a mirror!

There's also no built-in speaker, so you have to use the single earbud that comes with it.

I bought a #Skmei 2460. It might sound like blasphemy but I've been aware and considered the #Casio A1100 multiple times over the last three years (since release) and just never pulled the trigger. The thing is, I had a A100 before and the lack of 24hr option always bothered me.

I eventually realised that I didn't want/need a full reissue and when I noticed that the recent Skmei homage provided 24hr, I decided I would go that route because it is not like Casio is missing a sale from me. 😉
