For #Cardiacs fans this is pure spun gold. Rhodri Marsden breaks down the keyboards and the keyboard parts to The Everso Closely Guarded Line that he played on the band's recent shows. Watching him effortlessly switching between keyboard sounds is gobsmacking.
Listening to Sing to God by #Cardiacs is good therapy in these fucked-up times.
Listen to at least the first 2 minutes of “Dog Like Sparky” to hear 4 absolutely brilliant main musical themes/ideas to get a feel for their genius.
And of course, there’s the mind-blowing and glorious 9 minute crescendo and rousing finale of the mythical “Dirty Boy”.

The Obvious Identity is a self-released album by English rock group Cardiacs, their first album of any sort, released under the group's earlier name of Cardiac Arrest. The album format was cassette tape, and it was only sold at concerts. The album title came from a name which the band used for a short time prior to taking on the Cardiac Arrest name.
