A strange thing happened on the way to trying to open a Haunted Arcade at bavastudio, someone gave me an original Commodore 64C.* I’ve never seen the re-design of the classic breadbox version of the C64, so it was definitely a novelty.

Got my modren #C64 power supply, and powered up the unit I got, and it works! … kinda. The sound is very quiet and has a bad buzz, so I’m guessing there’s a bad capacitor, maybe?

As a larf, I also hooked it up to the #C64c that I had in a tote… and it also worked, and better than the other one! It got a dunking in a flood a while back, so I need to open it up and see how bad it is inside… but it played the little music program I typed in!

Old computers are cool and weird, man.
