Raccoon🇺🇸🏳️🌈Looking at the two #candidates being put forward for #governor in #Florida by the #Democrats, I can't help but think the establish is making the same mistake again here. One of them is a former #Republican, the other one is a police officer, and well neither of those things make me think they will be particularly bad at the job, it is getting a little crazy that the Democrat establishment keeps putting forward these candidates who seem to be geared to convince voters that they will just be moderate Republicans... Which will lower the interest of people who don't want Republicans, in an attempt to woo voters who want a Republican and thus have no reason to vote for anyone but the Republican anyway.
Not saying I won't vote for the Democrat: I met #ByronDonalds a few times while working in #politics, and while I thought he was smarter than the average candidate from that part of Florida, I don't think he'd make a good governor, on top of all the reasons to #vote Democrat this year, especially in Florida.
