“The #EuropeanMovement was established in 1948 by #WinstonChurchill and other prominent #European leaders to promote European unity as a way to defend #peace, #democracy and #liberty against #authoritarianism, #nationalism and #imperialism. That mission remains as important as ever, and we are keen to stand up for those values and stand by our friends and partners in #Canada, as they strive to defend them against #Trump’s assaults"

Now, I tap dance across news outlets and the brilliant #BylinesScotland to try to get at real facts and something approaching honest analysis.

I know some of the people involved with #BylinesScotland and I genuinely do believe the poll fiasco was an honest mistake driven by Birdsite Brain (ie the need to constantly produce clickbait for the algorithm).

I also find it interesting how all the responses *here* are accusing #bylines of being deliberately transphobic; while all the responses on Twitter are accusing them of being "TRAs".

Which honestly says more about the current culture of twitter than the #BylinesNetwork.
