For the longest time, I couldnβt see β Ed Sullivanβ from βBye, Bye Birdieβ without smiling and giggling a little. I would start rolling on the floor when Paul Lynde looks at the camera and says, in full earnestness, βEd,I love you!β Itβs the absolute topper on an overwrought, pompous song about being on TV.
