John Cadbury would be revolving in his grave if he knew what had happened to his company. Now owned by US based Mondelez, they are all about making profit and indulging in shocking trade practices including deforestation and child slavery.

This time Gravy powder. Gravox, the main brand on the supermaket shelves is owned by Hienz / Kraft - a US based multinational. Massel - slightly more expensive but is owned and made in Australia.

Note: I usually buy Gravox and haven't tried Massel gravy - although I have used their stock in the past. As always these things have to be balanced by pragmatism. If I don't like it I'll switch back. Usually the changes I've made turn out to be either better or cheaper or both.
