Scenes from a walk (part one). An interesting 12 mile walk from Southease to Lewes to try and find Adonis Blue butterflies (successful) and Wartbiter Crickets (unsuccessful). Made up for it by seeing a Wall Brown though.

Today I learned that there have never been so few butterflies counted in the Netherlands as this spring. Ever since I was a child I have seen the number decrease and that hurts me. More than 70% loss of biodiversity during my lifetime and I want this to stop. Time for a change of mentality for nature and therefore for our future.
