LRT: using generative AI to communicate with me is one of the most offputting things I could imagine a person doing. It would probably lead to me mistrusting any and all other correspondence from that person, at least until they not just promised but _proved_ that they would never do it again.

It's perfectly fine to take some time answering messages, or answer curtly, or have a habit of letting threads drop. Just do NOT hand communcation over to a lying machine.
