Kent County Council Freedom of Information release:
#Kent County Council has responded to a request on #transport graphics standards and bus specifications. Fastrack, the council-operated bus service run by Go Ahead since November 2024, does not follow fixed design standards. Branding decisions, including vehicle livery, interior signage, and signage placement, are managed by the Fastrack team. The council provided excerpts from 2024 rebranding documents for electric and diesel #buses, detailing vehicle styling, passenger experience features, and regulatory compliance requirements. Vehicles must meet electric charging, safety, and accessibility standards, with council approval required for livery and passenger information displays.

🇮🇪 Ireland’s National #Transport Authority has launched an inclusivity campaign to promote #diversity across the Transport for #Ireland (TFI) public transport network. Building on previous anti-racism initiatives, the campaign presents public transport as a welcoming space for all passengers, regardless of background, identity or ability. Advertisements will appear on #buses, trams and #trains, as well as on social media, sharing the experiences of people who use public transport each day. Using the tagline “Transport for Ireland is Transport for you, transport for everyone”, the campaign highlights the role of public transport in connecting communities. NTA chief executive Anne Shaw said accessible and inclusive transport is a key priority, noting it provides essential access to education, employment and independence. She added that improving transport options can help remove barriers and support inclusion across society. The campaign will run for several weeks.
