A new research partnership between the University of B.C. and Tsleil-Waututh Nation indicates impacts of colonization, including smallpox, overfishing and industrialization, destroyed nearly 90 per cent of the food systems and sources in the Burrard Inlet in Metro Vancouver over a period that extends from 1750 to 1980.
