We're on another #lutruwita #Tasmania adventure! This time in my lovely #mitsubishi #minicabMiEV. Got the boat across (car travel for free special) and have managed the following itinerary so far since 7am today:
#Penguin
#Burnie
#Waratah
#Tullah
#Queenstown
There is EV charging at our bnb, which also has a lovely view over the town. We are here for 3 days and plan to do the Wilderness Railway, Strahan, and little side trips from town. Queentown itself is so interesting. It's got the most stunning mountain ringed backdrop, and the old miners cottages everywhere are in various stages of disrepair and refurbishment. There are clearly quite a few characters locally. But it really is stunning. As was the drive down. It's nice actually to be forced to take it slow and charge regularly. Have met several people who are not from Tasmania, in fact everyone I've had a conversation with so far in which I've learned where they are from, 100% are not from Tasmania (but live here). The guy running the local chippy/pizzeria has an epic ginga beard, but I do not know if he's local. And the chips were delicious.
After here we plan to visit near #Scottsdale for a #Workaway experience which I am just as excited about! HMU if you are somewhere along the way between here and there, and would like to meetup!
