Recently with #Burlesgeek we did a #burlesque show to celebrate #NicolasCage It was a theme that #LuluLesBellesMirettes wanted to do for a long time. For my act I chose #ConAir because... well... it gave me an opportunity to showcase my #mullet. Basically, I start with the wind in my hair, like when Nic Cage exits the bus in the movie, but the wind gets increasingly strong and blows all my clothes away. It was a crowd favorite.

During another #Burlesgeek show, the theme was #Pixar. My choice for a #burlesque act was #Ratatouille where Remy takes over and starts messing with me in front of the audience and tries to humiliate me because I won't listen to him.

Once we had a #StevenSpielberg themed #burlesque show with #Burlesgeek and my choice was to make an #ET based act where it's E.T. in the halloween lady costume doing a classic hitchhiker number trying to go home.

In my previous post I mentioned Japan. Actually #Burlesgeek did a Japan themed show once and I made this #Gundam #RX78-2 costume for the occasion. Took me nearly two months to make. Thankfully I had some previous experience because I also did a #Transformers #OptimusPrime costume for my partner and we did a duo together on the song PonPonPon by Kiyari Pamyu Pamyu. We did the choreography from the music video. It's hard as hell to move in those things by the way. We went on to do this act again at the #BagelBurlesqueExpo and also for the 20th dragiversary of local drag queen and celebrity Mado Lamothe at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival. We performed at Place des Arts on an outdoor stage in front of several thousands of people. Man what a rush that was. I can only wish that we could do this number in Japan.

This is my #PredatorMovie number AKA the sexual predator. It took me a solid month just to do the mask alone, based on a YouTube tutorial. The rest is just cutouts of cardboard stuck together with duct tape. And the fishnets and all were bought at a regular old sex shop. I initially performed this at #Burlesgeek of course, then at various conventions including the #MontrealComicCon.
