Oh, left myself a note when I got up. I dreamed I was a teen in 1980s again, running Bureau 13 (actually from 1992, Stalking the Night Fantastic was from 1983 but I think I first played Fringeworthy at a con in '87?).

Started mixing in other settings, most of us were having fun, but one player was constantly bitching about the combat which I ran fast-roll for everyone, and about how I didn't let him be an ancient PSI/Magic Student/Vampire or some shit.

We finished Bureau 13! The most anti-climatic ending I've seen so far. But, oh well. It was a cool game. Lots of replay-ability in it, as you can choose different character combinations. We slayed demons, removed chips off of people's necks, and killed a virtual reality AI monster. Our 13th game completed live! Farewell Bureau 13!

Every now and then I pick up one of the Tri Tac RPGs I have—Fringeworthy, Incursion, FTL: 2448, Stalking the Night Fantastic etc—and get excited about potentially running it again. Then I flip the page to one of many complicated diagrams and endless tables and tell myself that maybe I should just run it with Fudge instead.
