L’imbarcazione Trinidad della Flotilla per Gaza è affondata nel Mediterraneo a causa di una tempesta mentre erano diretti verso Creta. A soccorrere 12 naufraghi, tra attivisti e membri dell’equipaggio, è stata una nave di Open Arms coi gommoni. Lo riferisce Antonella Bundu, ex candidata di Toscana Rossa alla presidenza della Regione Toscana, che fa parte della spedizione intercettata dalla marina israeliana. “La Trinidad è affondata. Ieri era il primo giorno di ‘tormenta’ (tempesta in spagnolo). Dopo alcune ore di mare grosso, con sballottamenti a destra e a manca, la barca ha cominciato a spezzarsi – racconta in un post – È volata via la battagliola a manca, con candelieri e draglie, lasciando dei buchi importanti nella coperta (nel senso che è partita la ringhiera a sinistra, con i pali sradicati che hanno lasciato fori sulla barca). Acqua da sotto e da sopra. Noi comuni mortali abbiamo abbandonato rocambolescamente la nave, chiedendo via radio l’intervento di Open Arms” che ha inviato un gommone.
“Ci prendono uno alla volta, io per ultima, il capitano decide di rimanere sulla barca – sottolinea Bundu – Quelli sul gommone ci urlano in spagnolo, per sovrastare il rumore del mare. Ho portato con me solo una piccola borsa di tela. Il passaporto in una pochette di plastica al collo, fisso lì dalla notte degli attacchi – aggiunge -. Ci sbarcano sulla nave madre e vanno a riprendere quelli sulle altre due barche. A bordo ci danno l’uniforme Open Arms, facciamo finalmente una doccia, anche calda. Laviamo i vestiti sporchi e li mettiamo ad asciugare. Nel frattempo arrivano anche altri. Siamo 12 naufraghi in tutto. Ci mostrano le cuccette: possiamo dormire a turni di quattro ore a testa. Vado a letto alle 23 e alle 3 mi alzo. Siamo ufficialmente naufraghi e attendiamo un porto di sbarco“.
