On a whim, I thought I'd see if I could find any interesting pictures I took on this day, however many years ago. My hopes weren't high, as we tend not to travel in July.
Still… it looks like 12 years ago today, I (or perhaps my then newly wedded wife?) was getting to grips with our new macro lens.

It's a bumble bum! Jewelweed hides its sweet nectar deep within the flower so bumble bee workers need to crawl in quite far to reach it, allowing for adorable photos like this!
