#Bulletstorm in the books. Fantastic game that definitely doesn't get the love it deserves.

It's pretty great at what it does and isn't remotely ashamed about what it is, and I love that about it.

They certainly don't make games like that anymore.

Oh man, #BulletStorm is kind of amazing.

I get the same sense of pure videogame enjoyment that I get from a game like Titanfall 2. It's a videogame ass videogame and it's not ashamed of that in the slightest.

So I've bounced off both Indiana Jones and Lords of the Fallen in the last week.

I've decided to hit up my 'to-do' list and so I'm replaying #BulletStorm on my Steamdeck.

I played the original version like...14 years ago and had a good time with it. It's probably one of those rare games that's aged better than you might think.

It's reception was pretty frosty at time of release, but over the last 15 years I think we can appreciate what it's going for significantly more than we did at the time.

Shooting dudes and throwing them at walls is always going to be fun, and the childish writing and general sense of immaturity is alright in small doses.
