Rohas Tecnic Bhd (RTB) has bagged a construction contract worth RM199.84 million from #MRTS for the construction and completion of #BukitChagar's #facade for the Johor Bahru–Singapore #RapidTransitSystemLink (#RTSLink) Project - Package 8.

Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd (REI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Rohas Tecnic, and Sediabena Builders Sdn Bhd (SBSB), are both involved in the design and fabrication of steel structures.

KUALA LUMPUR: Rohas Tecnic Bhd (RTB) has bagged a construction contract worth RM199.84 million from Malaysia Rapid Transit System Sdn Bhd (MRTS) for the construction and completion of Bukit Chagar’s facade for the Rapid Transit System Link Johor Bahru – Singapore Project (RTS Link Project - Package 8).

Amid swirling dust, machinery noise and traffic diversions, the construction of the #JohorBahru - Singapore #RapidTransitSystemLink (#RTSLink) #station next to the JB checkpoint has injected a new level of chaos into the area.

Business at nearby eateries in #BukitChagar, where the station will be located, has been affected, but the stall owners can put up with the disruption so long the RTS Link brings in more customers when it is completed as scheduled.

The #Marine #Viaduct, connecting the #RTSLink between #BukitChagar and #WoodlandsNorth made a significant #progress in the #development.

Crossing the #Straits of #Tebrau, the Marine Viaduct terrestrial bridge is 750 meters long from the shoreline of Stulang Laut.

Moreover, few meters from the #Malaysia - #Singapore #border, pier 47 will be the penultimate pier for the RTS Link Project on the Malaysian’s side and will be connected by a drop-in span with pier 48 from the Singaporean’s side.
