What a dumpster fire that is.
@ivanpavlov @marcoarment Even worse: Xcode sometimes fails to remove the empty toolbar from the storyboard and the SDK crashes your app even though there is no toolbar visible in Interface Builder.
You have to remove the empty toolbar stump manually from the XML.
Searching for toolbar in Xcode does not find those.
I was lucky to have used grep in the first place.
Frankly, I will recommend all my customers to skip #macOS 26 for at least a year, and hope that #Apple will finally get it's act together and make at least the basc stuff workable and even usable again.
With trash software quality like that from Apple, how the hell are we developers supposed to prepare our apps for the horrid new user interface?
What a fiasco.
Frankly, I get the feeling that Apple is totally drowning. First the "Apple Intelligence" desaster from last year, then the Siri no-show, and now the user hostile new interface in iOS and macOS 26.
I don't think they still know what they are doing.
Well, after seeing the total mess of code that #Apple has released in recent years, I very much doubt that.
But hopefully you are right, really!
Every single year since the infamous Mac OS X 10.7, we have to spend more and more weeks to work around the new bugs in AppKit and CoreFoundation in #macOS, last year was truly horrible.
This may be because our #NeoFinder uses a lot of low level stuff, but it is tedious and increasingly frustrating for the total lack of help, documentation, and bugfixes from Apple.
