On one hand, I was happy to outrun the storm so that we arrived to see family in #Buffalo before #BuffaloStorm2022 hit. We’ve been safe with my sister’s family. The power went out nearby but not at their house. On the other hand, I wasn’t expecting to be so snowed in that we’re on day 4 of not getting farther than the driveway. My parents live 10 minutes away and we still haven’t seen them. At this point, we may have to drive straight back to Illinois by the time the streets are cleared.
