A $2 million grant will determine designs for Buffalo Bayou bridge rehabilitation

The administration last week announced the $26.5 million grant initiative to fund 28 bridge restoration projects across the country. In Houston, the grant dollars will be used to go towards repairing and raising eight Buffalo Bayou bridges that span across 15 miles from Dairy Ashford Street to west Houston.

Yesterday my wife and I went to downtown #Houston and I got what might be one of the best photos I’ve taken of my hometown.

It’s strange how being #intentional about how you see a place, a thing or a person can change your perspective of it.

I have for a long time considered this city rather bland and an average place. But look!… look how pretty it is.
