I made a lovely cost-of-living-friendly slow cooker stew with beef brisket, carrots, squash, turnip, and potatoes: Then, I gave it a certain je ne sais quoi with some fresh garden herbs and a bit of a Hungarian fusion feel with some quality sweet Hungarian Paprika. Finally, I served it with some gorgeous fresh garnish to make it really pop when served. We almost ate the bowls with the stew!
The cost: an eye-watering €0.38 total.
