Nothing more than a practice-pad sketch, but it's intriguing to think this UK top 20 hit might've directly informed the #SoftBoys Underwater Moonlight LP

Once more, it’s a crying shame
Only this time no one but myself to blame
All I touch turns to dust
It’s right there in my cards
I ought to cut

Roxy!
Roxy!
Roxy!

It's a Roxy Music Day, today!

That's great!

Unfortunately, I have work to do. Lots of work. On a project that should have been completed ... in November? (It's been a rolling clusterfuck of missed targets -- technically, I've finished the bits that should have been completed in November -- last week -- but, if those bits had been finished in November, the current bits would have been finished two weeks ago.)

I'm tired of this project, and would like to be finished, and had hoped to finish up today (yesterday? Monday?), but it's a Roxy Music Day, today, and I keep stopping and listening to the music!

So, my choice is to stop listening to Roxy Music, and finish, or let this project drag on through the end of the week.

(Oh well, I didn't have any other plans for Friday. Sing, Bryan, sing!)

(The lyrics above do not represent a recommendation. If you want to join in on today's Roxy Music Day, pick your own favorite Roxy Music song. Or pick any random Roxy Music song! They're all good!)
