Excellent evening at the Pianodrome in #Bruntsfield , for Strawmoddie's production of Amadeus.

First time I've had a chance to visit, the seating is all made from recycled pianos. Admittedly not the most comfortable (they do give out cushions tho!) but v cool. Didn't distract from enjoying the play.

Good recovery walk today, first time since the op I've tackled the uphill route to #Bruntsfield .

Wee read on the Links, go hang with my chums at the bookshop (so missing being there at moment), then with chum to nearby Ciccettas to try their ice-cream (delicious!).

They opened near our bookshop just before my op, this was first chance to visit, so after my walk met chum from bookshop then gelato ahoy!

Today's recuperation walk took me to Thorne Records , chat with the guys, pick out some #vinyl therapy, then across to my bookshop.

Hugs & nice catch up with chums, even recommended & sold a few books to people. Felt good, even just for a hour.

Sadly the earlier sun was giving way to clouds & rain by then. Still a nice spot for views: Victorian stone tenements, towering spire of Barclay Viewforth Church, the Castle & the great, extinct volcano of Arthur's Seat, all from one spot
