In non puppy related news, I seem to have become an absolute liability.
I fell down the last four stairs last Wednesday, and bruised both my arm and arse lower back. (Don’t worry, only the arm #bruise is shared.) Then today, I managed to bruise my little finger by clapping my hands together, once.
I think I may be officially #old. Can I retire now?

Don't mind me, just expressing my desire to draw Silly Cartoon Whackiness and venting my displeasure at the overpopulation of fascists by combining the two into a goofy cartoon dog covered in fascist blood.
My ever-overactive imagination envisions Doofy here as the protagonist of a rubber-hose style side-scrolling game where you alternate between helping your fellow Toons with their home problems in simple-yet-rewarding minigames to earn currency for upgrades, and then using those upgrades to visit cartoon hyperviolence on the fascists trying to ruin your otherwise-peaceful town as you travel between jobs.
Probably call them F.R.O.S.T aka 'Foundation for the Removal of Outsiders and Suspicious Troublemakers' or something similarly on-the-nose.
Either way, was an amusing distraction to draw. Might well revisit him in the future. We'll see :B

One result commonly seen on the back of elder hands is from "Peripheral Cannulation"
i.e., infusions of #medications, #chemo therapy, vital fluids (i.e., rehydration/nutrients/electrolytes), and even 'recreational drug use'.

It's just makeup to cover up bruising. He's on anticoagulants - probably has been for many years, like many men and women with risk factors for heart disease (weight, lifestyle, etc) and they've probably increased the strength of what he's on with his more recent diagnosis of venous insuffciency.
This level of anticoagulants makes you bruise *extremely* easily - just bump a doorknob or table surface with your hand / elbow / whatever, and you'll bruise - and it also makes the bruises look much more severe. I've a relative that has had bruises covering half their face with dark, almost-black patches multiple times from very minor incidents.
But he's vain (vein? 😉 ), so gotta cover it up with makeup.
