In probably a niche post on here, I just noticed #Alexcaceres aka #BruceLeroy is on the #ufcfightnight main card.
He's a journeyman. Offered meat.
That's what his bosses think of him.
21 wins, 14 losses.
He's fighting a guy that has less fights than be has losses.
He'll never be a champion or headliner. He's there to help people make the step up. For a pittance.
That's not right.
The self esteem, brain damage.
Led my mate to kill himself.
He was tired of being offered meat.

There is a half-hour featurette called "Return of the Dragon" I can't find it on YouTube right now, but I watched it as a special feature from 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray
It begins with shots from the movie and sound-bites from interviews with different people who worked on and around the film.
What they say sums up some of the reasons I love the movie so much.
The Last Dragon, and I said "What is that?"
It's a Bruce Leroy film.
It's a Motown martial arts musical.
It is a New York film.
Flipping all the racial stereotypes.
It was capturing a moment in time.
It's a love story.
There's a moral of good over evil.
The message of the movie is all positive.
