Just back from a #dinner #picnic high on a hill, under the shade of trees & enjoying a cool breeze.

As I write this, it’s 41° here. 🥵

We ate the wattle seed damper I made this afternoon topped with plum jam & drank some very cold soft drinks.

About all we could tolerate in the heat.

Arrived to one of the neighbour kids wanting to tell us how he saw a #brownSnake twice while we were out, near the lucerne bales.

Feeding the #alpacas & #sheep in the morning will be - interesting. 🐍🐍
