My neighbor's dog just died from rat poison, in Brookline Village. This is a dog that went out for walks on a lead and to the dog park - not a lot of chances to get into things. Their vet said they've been seeing this a lot lately. Please take care with rodenticide and pets!

Harvard Science and Engineering Complex Library (10.57 mi), 146 Western Ave, Boston MA photographed from Buck Hill. Harvard Stadium sits directly behind this building, and I have to wonder if in the days prior to the library's construction whether the stadium would have been visible.

The large building below is the Brook House Condominiums (8.23 mi), 77 Pond St, Brookline MA. To the left of that is the steeple of St. Paul's Episcopal Church (8.74 mi), 15 St Paul St, Brookline MA. And near the bottom of the frame, just left of center, is the top of a house with a conical tower (7.15 mi), 103 Robinwood Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

The Towers of Chestnut Hill (9.1 mi), 250 Hammond Pond Pkwy, Chestnut Hill MA photographed from Buck Hill.

Above the left tower is The Pinnacle (61.3mi), Lyndeborough NH. The Pinnacle is very difficult to see or photograph. I have many photos of this view from the last two years and only on this one day, a late April morning just after sunrise, can The Pinnacle be seen.

Below the towers is The Adams at Hancock Village (7mi), 101 Asheville Road, Brookline MA and under that there is a splash of houses (4.7mi) on Alpheus Rd, MacDonald St and Grassmere Rd in Hyde Park MA

Kurosawa

Widely considered one of the most influential filmmakers of the 20th century, Akira Kurosawa created transcendent works of art that challenged cinematic limitations, illuminating the universal truths of the human condition. The Coolidge is thrilled to present this retrospective of eleven new restorations of his films.
