After nearly 3 months on hunger strike and after being arrested for the 12th time #KhaderAdnan the Palestinian activist, died in prison on 2 May 2023, following an 87-day hunger strike

Adnan was the first Palestinian prisoner to die from a hunger strike since 1992 and has today become a focus for the #hungerstrike occurring in #Bronzefield and #Peterborough

He, like them, protested his arrest under so-called administrative detention, in which suspects are held indefinitely without trial

Both Bronzefield and Peterborough prisons are PRIVATELY RUN prisons

This means they incarcerate people for profit

This means they they will spend the barest legal minimum on prisoners

So don't think for a second that the #hungerstrikers in #Bronzefield are well looked after
