With all my talk about preserving and/or owning physical media, I just wanna show off my Brok Deluxe Edition once again:

The physical edition combined old-fashioned ownership with modern things by actually, physically including the game...on a USB Stick in the game case.

You own it, it works offline, you still have something physical, the stick even has a cute, fitting color and, if you want to, well, it's a USB-Stick, you can even update the game on it, something a CD did, obviously, not allow.

As consumer friendly as Steam is, surprisingly, it's still a pity that physical games on PC have basically been dead for quite a long time by now. And I think this release was a fun way to handle that, I really appreciate it!

I finally saw all of the endings of Brok The InvestiGator, which meant I got to see the kickers at the end. Here's hoping this story continues in a 2nd part. This is officially an all time favorite, as Ross from Accursed Farms would say. Now I'm sad I'll never get to experience again for the first time. Off to the next game I suppose. I've said it before, but it needs to be reiterated. Please give this your time. You won't be disappointed. @COWCAT

"Natal Tail" is a free, 1 hour visual novel Christmas episode prequel to Brok. It was mainly the developer creating a visual novel engine.

Originally it was that: visual novel, no choices, one ending. Contrary to the main game.

With the paid "deluxe update" (and console releases), the game got some achievements and choices. They don't change much, it's still a mostly straight-forward visual novel.

BUT! The very first choice is what Graff, the basically main character here, considers his friend "Ott" to be. And among "best friend", "worst enemy" and "delicious pastry" (don't ask me. 😅), there's also "lover".
This doesn't change much, but you get these little text near the end, and my shipping heart loves it. 😁🥰

My Brok comic by @COWCAT arrived last week!

I usually prefer thicker TPBs (Trade Paperbacks), but I wouldn't pass the chance to buy everything "Brok" I can. (The game is lovely! Try it!)

AND: It seems the price on the comic is listed in in-world currency. Which means I'll do what I did for other cartoons and games already:
Starting up the game again, collecting all prices and wages I can find, and see how logical the relation between them seems! 😁

Anyway, yeah, Brok is awesome, try Brok.
Also, ship Graff and Ott! 😁😊
